Kirkpatrick
This narrated slide show will demonstrate the development of a faculty driven, pre and post assessment of the University of Hawai'i community college's systemwide Associate of Arts degree program. The narrative will also explain how the same tool is being used by the system for online student evaluation of faculty/teaching. Linares will describe the work of the UHDE committee on assessment and its various communications to ensure the set of questions was acceptable and approved by faculty senates at all seven of the UHCC campuses. Kirkpatrick will demonstrate and explain the development of the tool to emphasize ease of use for faculty and students as part of the fulfillment of one of the criteria in the Best Practices Statement of the UHCC DE committee. She will also produce a hypertext that demonstrates through screen shots, the results that faculty are given and that are publicly accumulated. Collin will demonstrate and explain the mechanism of the MOO Survey tool for data recognition and parsing, for global user authentication, and for the automated generation of the analysis and results.
