Confidence and Confidentiality: The Experiences of Two e-Learners
Biography
Barbara
Allan is a Senior Lecturer in Student and Management Learning at
the Hull University Business School. She has been involved in e-learning
as a tutor (including on the Open University's T171 programme)
and also as a student on the MEd Networked Collaborative Learning.
She is particularly interested
in exploring opportunities for using e-learning to enhance the
student experience. She is currently involved in a range of projects including
staff development for e-tutors, developing employability skills
across the curriculum, plagiarism (and its prevention) and
facilitating online communities of practice. In her spare time
she enjoys walking her dogs across the fields of East Yorkshire.
